Program Structure
Your Path to CFOT Certification
No prior tech experience needed. Every student starts at Phase 1 with Cisco NetAcad IT fundamentals. From there you’ll build through networking and physical layer concepts, then dive deep into hands-on fiber optic installation and testing skills.

The CFOT from the Fiber Optic Association (FOA) is the most widely recognized fiber optic certification in the industry — accepted by telecom providers, internet service providers, contractors, and government agencies nationwide. It validates hands-on skills in fiber installation, splicing, termination, and testing. We Are One Foundation covers the cost for eligible students.
