“I grew up facing financial hardships, raised by a single mother who gave everything she had for our family. She taught us values that I carry to this day — never judge anyone regardless of their race, color, or creed. Treat all people the same, with love and respect. I joined the Navy to help provide for my mother and two sisters, and it was there that I discovered telecommunications. That experience changed the trajectory of my life.”

I carried those technical skills throughout my entire career. And now, as I look at what is happening in America and across the world, I see a crisis unfolding. Our youth are falling behind in the global technology race. We are competing with the rest of the world, and too many of our young people are being left out of the conversation entirely.

That is why I built We Are One Foundation. For the young adults who cannot afford college. For the veterans who served this country but did not come home with the technical skills needed in today’s AI economy. For the underserved communities whose talent and potential have gone untapped for too long.

The future belongs to those who are prepared for it. We are here to make sure our youth are not just ready. They are ahead.
