Common Questions

How do I access my courses?

Log in at netacad.com using the credentials sent to your email when you were enrolled. Your courses will appear on your dashboard. If you have trouble logging in, email enrollment@weareonenonprofit.org right away.

What if I fall behind?

Life happens — reach out to us before you fall too far behind. The sooner you communicate, the easier it is to get back on track. Email your instructor or book a check-in. Do not go silent — we are here to help.

How many hours per week do I need to study?

We recommend a minimum of 8–10 hours per week for part-time students and 15–20 hours per week for full-time students. Consistency is more important than cramming. Even 1–2 hours a day keeps you on pace.

When do I take my certification exam?

After completing all four phases of your pathway and passing your practice exams, your instructor will work with you to schedule your official certification exam. WAO covers the exam cost for eligible students — you do not pay anything.

Can I do more than one pathway?

Yes — after completing your current pathway and earning your certification, you can enroll in a second pathway. Many students go on to stack multiple certifications. Talk to your instructor about next steps after your first cert.

Will WAO help me find a job after I certify?

Yes. WAO provides career resources, employer connections, and job placement support for graduates. We are actively building employer partnerships to connect certified students with hiring opportunities in technology, cybersecurity, networking, and related fields.

What is the attendance and participation policy?

Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions, complete weekly module activity on NetAcad, and communicate proactively with their instructor. Students who are inactive for two or more weeks without communication may lose their enrollment spot.
